Occasionaly parents question whether they should allow their children attend courses, When students feel weak in certain subject, attending a course is good for them. However, parents should not force their children to attend many courses.

Students who attend many courses may be dependent on their course teachers. They will feel that they have ‘a shoulder to lean on’ when they have problems. They will as their teahers to help them to do difficult assignments, without knowing the process of solving a task.

Besides, attending many courses will make students tired, with less time to rest. As a result, they cannot concentrate and absorb well what they have learned, both at school or courses.

Based on the above reasons, it is clear that attending many courses is not good for students. Therefore, it is better if students attend only one or two courses a week. Moreover, parents should make sure that their children benefit from the courses they attend, either by observation or quetions to the children.

The following text is for questions 5 to 10.

Thousands of macaques are bred or captured from the wild to be used as street performers, or known as “topeng monyet”. The macaques are used to perform street shows; wearing funny masks, riding bicycles, performing acrobatic moves and doing amusing things. However, such shows should be banned for few reasons.

First, topeng monyet is a kind of exploitation of monkeys for money. The monkeys are hung from chains for long periods to train them to walk on their hind legs like humans. Their teeth are extracted so they can’t bite and they are tortured to remain obedient. The monkeys are often outfitted in dresses and cowboy hats and forced to carry parasols or ride tiny bikes. This animal abuse will definitely hurt the monkeys.

Second, the ban of masked monkey show can help improve public order. Topeng monyet is often performed when traffic is backed up at notoriously congested intersections. This will disturb the sight and create traffic jams for many motorists or pedestrians will slow down to watch the shows.

Third, banning the dancing monkeys is a necessary public health measure. It is important to rescue the monkeys from street performances and help prevent diseases carried by the monkeys.

The monkeys used in topeng monyet may not be healthy and may have potential to some diseases such as tuberculosis and hepatitis.

Considering the reasons stated above, topeng monyet should be banned for it exploits the monkeys, causes traffic jams and spreads illnesses such as tuberculosis and hepatitis.

Aside from the stress, a traffic congestion  exposes to pollutants that can affect people’s lungs. Aside from chronic lung diseases, a research finds that air pollution can cause blood pressure to rise and inflame the arteries, increasing heart attack and stroke risk.

Commuters who are caught in night’s traffic mess are also deprived of sleep, especially those who have to get up early the next day to avoid the morning rush and get to work on time. Sleep deprivation can also affect performance, attention and long term memory.

Why does drinking too much water cause fluid overdose?

Water is one of the best healing elixits for any ailment. It helps flush out toxins that may be harmful for your body and keep it going. While drinking eight to ten glasses of water every day may be advised by many health experts, there is a chance that over-consumption of water may lead to certain problems.

First, too much consumption of water can lead to fluid overload in the body and imbalance in the body. Excess water can lead to lower sodium levels in the body, which may furthher lead to nausea, vomitting, cramps, fatugue, et al. This condition is known as hyponatremia.

Second, headaches are signs of both over-hyrdration and dehydration. When you drink too much water, the salt consumption in your blood reduces, causing the cells in the organs throughout your body to swell.

Third, excessive water consumption can cause fatigue and tiredness. Your kidnesy are esponsible for filtering the water you drink through your body and making sure the fluid levels in your bloodstream are balanced. With too much water, your kidneys may have to work even harder, creating a stressful reaction from your hormones that leave your body and you stressed and tired.

It is summertime and it is important to ensure that you are well hydrated; however, it is also important to know that excessive water consumption can reverse the good effects. Stick to drinking water only when your body indicates the thirst.
